Sure, I'll give you poses. Sure, I'll help guide you through the session. Yes, most people have Ricky Bobby syndrome and don't know what to do with their hands, and I'll tell you what to do! But I am going to capture the authentic, raw, unscripted moments too. You can find me clicking away, as you run through a field, or as your dog licks your face. I will capture those candid, unintentional moments, because those are just as important as the posed ones. Those show authentic, heartfelt, joyous love. That's my promise to you

What's the difference between a mini session and a full session?

Mini sessions are shorter (20 minutes vs. 1 hour), happen in our studio with pre-designed setups, and include 10 edited photos instead of 60+. They're perfect if you want professional photos without the time commitment or investment of a full session.

Can I book multiple mini sessions throughout the year?

Absolutely! Many families do Fall Minis, Christmas Minis, and one other themed session each year. It's a great way to document your family's growth without breaking the bank.

How do I know which mini session theme to choose?

Go with what feels right for the season and your family! Fall Minis are perfect for cozy autumn vibes, Christmas Minis capture holiday magic, Mommy & Me celebrates that special bond, and Cake Smash is all about first birthday chaos. Can't decide? Book more than one!

Can I purchase additional photos beyond the 10 included?

Yes! If you fall in love with more than 10 images (and trust me, it happens), you can purchase additional photos à la carte. I'll send you the full gallery after your session so you can see all your options.

What if we're running late to our mini session?

Life happens! Just shoot me a text. If you're a few minutes late, we'll make it work. But since mini sessions are back-to-back, I can't extend your time. If you need a full hour without time pressure, consider booking a regular session instead.

Can extended family join our mini session?

If you're wanting to include extended family like grandparents, aunts, uncles, or cousins, I'd really recommend booking a full session instead. The 20 minutes in a mini goes by so quick, and with only 10 shots included, it's really hard to do extended family justice. A full session gives us the time to capture all the different combinations and make sure everyone gets their moment without feeling rushed. Mini sessions work best for immediate family—parents and kids, or the specific groupings the session is designed for (like Mommy & Me or Cake Smash).

What should we wear for mini sessions?

Keep it simple and season-appropriate! For Fall Minis, think cozy neutrals and earth tones. For Christmas, classic holiday colors or whites work beautifully. The studio setups are designed to complement certain color palettes, so I'll send you style tips when you book.
